About Future Measures

More quality measures will be added to the NC Hospital Quality Performance Report that will be aligned with the Hospital Quality Alliance's reporting requirements and have National Quality Forum endorsement. For example, future measures for 2011-2012 may include:

1. Hospital Participation Status with the N.C. System for Hospital Infection Measurement (NCSHIM)
2. Measures from the Medicare Hospital Outpatient Quality Data Reporting Program
